Course Expectations

Syllabus
Course Goals: Students will apply mathematics in order to solve real world problems.
 
Course Objectives: The North Carolina Common Core (corestandards.org) will serve as the framework for all lessons and activities.
 
Grading: Your grades will be calculated based on a weighted scale indicated below:
     93-100       A
     85-92         B
     77-84         C
     76-70         D  
     Below 70   F
 
Homework will be assigned any night of the week, Monday through Thursday. This is a great way to ensure your success in Math! Homework is due at the beginning of class the next day. It is your responsibility to write down your homework assignments. Homework is usually posted on the school website; just click on Homework.Then at the left of the page click on Homework page once more.
 
Student Responsibilities: Students will be expected to complete all class work and homework assignments, study for all tests, follow the posted Discipline Plan, and to choose behavior that benefits a positive learning environment. Consequences of not following rules may result in silent lunch, parent call/conference, and/or choice room referral (ISS).
